Ethylene glycol monoethyl ether is a polar solvent with high solubility and low volatility. It can form stable solutions with many organic and inorganic substances. Because of its good solubility and low toxicity, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether is widely used as a solvent, surfactant, stabilizer and lubricant in the chemical industry.

Ethylene glycol diethyl ether is a low-volatility solvent. This product is mainly used as a solvent for nitrocellulose paint and aircraft wing paint. It can also be used as a coating agent for varnish, purification liquid, dye bath, water-soluble pigment and dye solution, solvent for refining leather, and can increase the stability of latex. In addition, it is also an intermediate for the production of acetate esters.
