Product Description

Oleic acid is an unsaturated fatty acid that contains a carbon-carbon double bond in its molecular structure and is the fatty acid that makes up olein. One of the most widely available naturally occurring unsaturated fatty acids. Oleic acid can be obtained by hydrolysis of grease with the formula CH3(CH2)7CH=CH(CH2)7·COOH. The glycerin of oleic acid is one of the main components of olive oil, palm oil, lard and other animal and vegetable oils.
