OTHER NAME  Diethylene oximide;  Tetrahydro - 1, 4 - oxazine; Diethyleneimide oxide.
A colorless alkaline oily liquid with an ammonion-like odor and hygroscopicity, it can volatilize with water vapor and is miscible with water. Morpholine is a secondary amine and also possesses the properties of both inorganic and organic acids, capable of generating salts and amides.
