1. In the coating industry, dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether is often used in water-based and cured coatings because of its excellent solubility and stability. As an alternative to cleaning agents in the electronics industry.
2. In industrial production, dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether can be used as additives such as lubricants, emulsifiers and antifreeze, and can also be used as extractants, solvents and dehydrating agents.
3. Other applications include solvents for printing inks, lacquers, cleaning solvents for cutting oils and working oils, as well as solvents and coupling agents for household and industrial cleaners, metal cleaners and hard surface cleaners.
