Dipropylene Glycol is a colorless transparent liquid at room temperature. It is easily soluble in hot water, ethanol and most organic solvents. It is easy to polymerize. Its vapor can form an explosive mixture with air. It is moderately toxic and has strong irritation to the skin and mucous membranes, but it is not carcinogenic.
