Diethylene glycol butyl ether acetate is a colorless transparent liquid with a boiling point of 246ºC. There are two groups of ether and ester in its molecular structure. It has the dual characteristics of fat ether and carboxylate, and can be mixed with water, alcohol, ether, acetone and most oils.

Application Area

1. Used as photosensitive chemicals, etc.
2. It is used as a high-boiling point solvent for high-temperature porcelain and printing inks, and also as a coalescing aid for latex paints. Since the solvent evaporates very slowly, it can be used as a solvent for screen printing inks and a solvent for polystyrene paint printing glazes.
3. It can also be used as an entrainer for the separation of alcohol and ketone.
