TritonX-114 (CASNO: 9036-19-5) is a low cloud point (23°C) non-ionic detergent (surfactant) and emulsifier that dissolves hydrophilic proteins from amphiphilic proteins and enables subcomponent separation of perimembrane proteins and membrane integrins. It is a commonly used phase separation reagent for intact membrane proteins.
 

Application Area

Soluble in water of various hardness. Acid and alkali resistant, with leveling, emulsification, lubrication, diffusion and other advantages. It is a non-ionic surfactant, used as a stabilizer and wetting agent of natural latex and synthetic latex adhesives, and can improve the penetration and coating properties of latex adhesives. It can also avoid solidification caused by high-speed stirring and pump extraction.
