Dichloromethane, also known as methyl chloroform or DCM, is a colorless organic compound with a pungent odor similar to ether. Its chemical formula is CH2Cl2. This compound is formed by replacing two hydrogen atoms in methane (CH4) with chlorine atoms. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ether, it is a non flammable low boiling point solvent under normal usage conditions.

1. Used in the manufacture of safety film, polycarbonate, and the rest used for coating solvent, m etal degreasing agent, smoke gas injection agent, polyurethane foaming agent, release agent, paint remover.
