Application

1.Dye industry: Resorcinol is an intermediate for many azo dyes and fur dyes.

2.Plastic industry: Resorcinol, similar to phenol, forms condensation polymers with it, which can be used to make viscose filaments and tire cord, and to prepare wood adhesives for bonding vinyl materials with metals.

3.Medicine: Resorcinol possesses the general properties of phenolic compounds and can be used as a preservative, added to soaps, medicines, and ointments, etc.

4.Rubber industry: Resorcinol is mainly used in rubber adhesives
