Potassium sorbate is the potassium salt of sorbate, which is a kind of preservative allowed in our country. It is white to light yellow scaly crystals, crystal particles or crystal powder, odorless or slightly smelly, long-term exposure to the air is easy to absorb moisture, be decomposed by oxidation and discoloration. Potassium sorbate soluble in water, soluble in propylene glycol and ethanol. Since sorbate is insoluble in water and inconvenient to use, potassium sorbate is often used.
