Tetracloroethylene TCE is widely used:

1, mainly as a metal degreasing solvent, but also used as an intestinal worm drug. Tetracloroethylene can be used as fat extraction agent, fire extinguishing agent and smoke agent, and can also be used for synthesizing trichloroethylene and fluorinated organic compounds.
